KT in California's Story

Well, I have been reading many of your stories and decided that I should share mine as well.  I am one of the ones that has been frustrated at my results but I think it is getting better.  My surgery was on February 21st, 2003 and today is May 31st.  I had the tuck to get rid of the pooch and excess skin that came with having two very large babies; one at 9 lbs and one at 10 lbs.  Mind you I was only 5'4 and weighing in at 112.  After the birth of my second baby, my hubby decided at the 3 month mark to leave me and try it with his girlfriend....it was a nightmare, as I had no idea that he had an affair going on. I tell you this for a reason.  The stress of him leaving and still at postpartum and situated with a four year old and a 3 month old just about did me in. I lost so much weight so quickly that my breasts shriveled up like prunes and my stomach, which already was a stretched mess, got more loose and saggy, but I was thin.

I ended up getting a breast augmentation in 2000 and really am pleased with the results.

After several years of intense workouts and trying everything to get my waist and abs in shape, I opted for the TT and lipo on my love handles.  At 3 months post op, I am a bit disappointed.  I still am quite swollen and the result that I was hoping for hasn't happened. I am due to go back for another check next week with my PS but so far I was expecting more.  I am pretty in shape and lucky in most areas, but my stomach and waist just don't match. I would love to hear from those who have had the tummy tuck and lipo in the waist and love handle areas to see if it just takes longer for the swelling to go away.

Sorry so long, but thought I would share the whole deal.... I've enjoyed so many of all of your stories, thanks!!!
